The Mike Inglett Memorial will be September 23rd.Gates open at 10am with a top 25 car show and also all day street car heads up action. Brandon Geiger is still leading the way in the Outlaw Class.The Leo Grebner Fall Classic will be held on Saturday September  the 30th. Gates open at 10am,This will be Leos 49th year of working at Humboldt County Draway.There will be a top 25 car show along with our regular bracket program. There will be an increased payout that day thanks to our friends from Competition Products and Lucas Oil.

HISTORY OF THE DRAGWAY

  • Over 50 years of racing since 1964.
  • 1/8 mile Paved.
  • It started out as a 1/4 mile drag, but was shortened later due to faster speeds.
  • Humboldt County Dragway has concessions and restrooms on site. It is surrounded by flat farmland and there is little shade in the area.
  • Humboldt Iowa, population 4,690. Humboldt County is a county located in Iowa. As of the 2010 census, the population was 9,815.
  • Directions: From Des Moines: Take I-35 North for 86 miles taking exit 165. From here take Highway 3 Left (West) for 39 miles then taking a Right onto Penn Ave. 1 mile down the track is on the Left..
  • On March 27, 1972, ABC-TV broadcast a half-hour documentary on Humboldt entitled "A Small Town in Iowa."
